Sawyer's first Christmas

Usually the diaper wraps hang over the fireplace drying, but on Christmas Eve we made sure that our Christmas stockings were hanging waiting for Santa to arrive.

Uncle Karl finally dared to hold Sawyer, now that he weights over 12lbs!

On Chirstmas Eve we went to church... Sawyer slept the whole time. Then it was off to dinner at Grandmother Pettersen's. Christmas Day was spent at home with both the grandmothers and uncle Karl coming over for dinner. We were lucky enough on Christmas Day to get snow! Sawyer's first Christmas was a white one.

6 week checkup

On his 6 week doctor appointment, on December 18th, Sawyer weighted an amazing 12lbs 2.5 oz. Needless to say he's quickly growing out of his current selection of clothes!

Yesterday was Sawyer's 1 month birthday! We had pizza, cake and presents with Farmor, Neenee, Bampa, and Aunt Rozie singing happy 1 month birthday to Sawyer.

On December 1st dad put up the Christmas lights and then we were lucky enough to get snow - Sawyer's first snowfall!

Sawyer got to visit Santa Clause and get his picture taken with him on Friday. Then he got to visit mom's work and meet all the people he had been listening too for 9 months in the womb.

Sawyer is helping dad blow out his birthday candles. Mom and dad got to go out for dinner while Sawyer hung out with his Farmor, Aunt Rozie, Neenee and Bampa.

Sawyer likes to have his hands free to move around when he sleeps and when he's awake.

Sawyer has been lucky enough to get a visit from his great grandparents - Neenee and Bampa.

This is my first weekend home and already watching football with dad! I have both Husky and Seahawk gear thanks to Grandpa O'Brien.

Here we are going home for the hospital on November 8th... not too happy in this picture but once we got in the car we we very happy to be on our way home.
